For DHL’s AI-powered document validation, the Edit screen had drifted from how annotators actually work. I led a redesign after uncovering inconsistencies between stakeholder expectations and real annotator workflows.

The approach

Align edit with validation.

By mapping user pain points and aligning the layout with the existing validation interface, we achieved a unified, more intuitive experience — and added high-impact actions like Move to Queue and Change Document Type for smoother annotation management.
