Overview
AI CopilotReportingAI Prompting

Rossum’s reporting was locked behind specialists.

Legacy reporting required customers to either rely on Tableau specialists or request support from Technical Account Managers (TAMs) — creating delays and inefficiencies for both customers and internal teams.

The challenge

Make insight self-service — even for non-technical users.

Through customer interviews, onsite visits and TAM feedback, I mapped the key pain points and uncovered clear opportunities for self-service reporting — without a single line of query language.

The approach

A Rossum-native UI with a Copilot at its core.

The MVP leveraged Metabase for query generation, wrapped in a Rossum-native UI and paired with a Copilot assistant — so even non-technical users could create reports and dashboards independently, in plain language.

Thanks to the new reporting, I’ve reduced the time I spend creating reports for customers from two working days to just 2 hours a week. Now it’s so easy that customers want to set it up themselves.
